- Principals of Operations:
- The process gas enters the system through the process inlets located at the top of the unit.
- The process gas flows down into the heat chamber where high temperature breaks down the gases into their respective constituents.
- A self-cleaning mechanism travels vertically through the chamber and cleans any deposits that build up during the decomposition process.
- The gas stream travels through the dynamic oxidation stage where it is mixed with ambient air. This mixing with air promotes cooling as well as oxidization of pyrophoric gases.
- Corrosive gases will then pass through the water scrubber portion of the system. The gas travels upwards through a counter flow of water. (Optional)
- At preset intervals, the washout spray will activate and force solids into the acid waste drain. (Optional)
- The gas and water are mixed and is discharged through the acid waster drain. (Optional
